About

AI news for people with better things to do.

Necessity Today is a short, plain-English daily digest of AI, cybersecurity, and other need-to-know tech news for regular people and small-business owners. The tech world produces hundreds of headlines a day; almost none of them require your attention. We read the firehose so you don’t have to, and publish only what could actually change how you work — with a clear “why it matters to you” every time, and for security stories, the concrete step to take.

How the digest is made

Stories are gathered daily from official company newsrooms, major technology publications, and specialist AI trackers. AI helps us monitor and summarize; a human editor reviews every edition — facts, dates, and names checked against primary sources — before anything is published. If an edition can’t be reviewed, it doesn’t go out. No exceptions, because a news site is only as good as its accuracy.

Our standards

  • Every story links to its primary source.
  • Plain English — if a term needs a glossary, we explain it in the sentence.
  • We say what a development means in practice, not what it might someday disrupt.
  • When we get something wrong, we correct it visibly.

Who’s behind it

Necessity Today is a Glazz LLC publication. If you want to go deeper than the news — learning AI skills step by step, or putting AI to work in your own business — our sister sites Computer Learning Academy and Glazz LLC cover exactly that.
